Solar PV Municipal Permitting Best Practices
February 25, 2016
1:00pm — 2:00pm ET
Join the Rooftop Solar Challenge II team to learn about municipal permitting best practices.
Under the Rooftop Solar Challenge II program, a federal grant program focused on targeting non-hardware “soft” costs for photovoltaic (PV) electricity systems, the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources (DOER), in coordination with the Clean Energy States Alliance and Meister Consulting, has developed a series of case studies highlighting the benefits of implementing particular municipal permit process improvements. The case studies will highlight how various Massachusetts municipalities have improved solar PV permitting processes, thereby saving time and money for government officials, solar installers, and residents.
DOER is hosting a webinar to discuss this forthcoming case study series. Panelists from DOER and Meister Consultants Group will present the case studies and discuss best practices observed throughout Massachusetts.
