March 19, 2013
11:00am — 12:00pm Eastern
CESA's Offshore Wind Accelerator Project (OWAP) and the Global Wind Network (GLWN) hosted this webinar to outline the DOE/GLWN Offshore Supply Chain project and explain how coastal regions can participate in the development and implementation of this emerging energy industry.
Webinar Description: The DOE recently awarded Global Wind Network (GLWN) a research project grant for the benefit of the U.S. wind industry, titled “U.S. Wind Energy Manufacturing and Supply Chain: A Competitiveness Analysis.” This webinar gave an overview of how GLWN works with regional economies to identify opportunities for logistics, transportation, manufacturing, staging, and attraction – all areas that will support the advancement of the offshore industry.
