Vermont Solar Cost Study: A Report on Photovoltaic System Cost and Performance Differences Based on Design and Siting Factors

February 29, 2016

by Leigh Seddon, L.W. Seddon, LLC., for the Clean Energy States Alliance

This report, a revised and corrected version of a previous edition released in January 2016, analyzes installation cost and performance differences between different types of solar photovoltaic (PV) installations in Vermont. It examines solar facilities built on existing buildings, on new structures such as parking lot canopies, and projects built on open pasture land. Cost data is based on solar facilities built between September 2014 and September 2015. This report was prepared for CESA and the Vermont Department of Public Service Clean Energy Development Fund by Leigh Seddon, L.W. Seddon, LLC.
