The Offshore Wind R&D Consortium: Roadmap, Research Priorities, and the Open Solicitation
Thursday, May 9, 2019 @ 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM ET
The Clean Energy States Alliance hosted a one-hour webinar on the Offshore Wind R&D Consortium, a jointly funded US DOE and NYSERDA R&D partnership whose membership includes major project developers, technical consultants, national labs, and four states to accelerate the development and innovation of the US offshore wind industry by removing or reducing technological and supply chain barriers. The Consortium released its initial Roadmap in October 2018 with strategies for achieving the Consortium’s three research pillars’ goals. Since the Roadmap’s release, the Consortium opened the first of a round of solicitations.
This webinar featured presentations by Walt Musial at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and Richard Bourgeois at NYSERDA on the Consortium’s research priorities, the open solicitation, and how to get involved in the work of the Consortium. CESA Project Director Val Stori moderated.
This webinar was presented by the Clean Energy States Alliance (CESA).
