Results of the New York RPS Program Review
Friday, December 13, 2013 @ 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) completed a comprehensive assessment of the main tier of New York’s RPS. Among other things, the review includes an evaluation of the benefits and costs associated with the portfolio of renewable energy generation projects that have been supported by the RPS. Because of New York’s central procurement model, which gives NYSERDA detailed information about the economics of specific projects, the review includes information on jobs and other economic impacts that is not easily available to RPS administrators in most other states. In this webinar, Doreen Harris and Carl Mas of NYSERDA discussed the program review’s methodology and findings.
