This ESTAP webinar provided an introduction to QuEST, an open-source software application suite for energy storage valuation. QuEST was developed by Sandia National Laboratories as a free, public tool to assist in energy storage valuation for various use cases.
In this webinar, members of Sandia’s energy storage analytics group demonstrated how to use the software, and presented a case study using the QuEST BTM (“behind-the-meter”) application to estimate the cost savings provided by energy storage for a time-of-use customer. This webinar is part of a larger effort to introduce software tools developed by Sandia to the public.
Panelists:
- Ricky Concepcion, Sandia National Laboratories
- Tu Nguyen, Sandia National Laboratories
- Todd Olinsky-Paul, Clean Energy States Alliance (moderator)
This webinar is a presentation of the Energy Storage Technology Advancement Partnership (ESTAP). ESTAP is the Energy Storage Technology Advancement Partnership, a federal-state funding and information sharing project that aims to accelerate the deployment of electrical energy storage technologies in the U.S. ESTAP is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Electricity, managed by Sandia National Laboratories, and administered by the Clean Energy States Alliance.
