NWRC Webinar: Maine’s Floating Offshore Wind Project Moving Forward

In this webinar, hosted by Clean Energy Group for the Northeast Wind Resource Center (NWRC), guest speakers from the University of Maine’s Advanced Structures and Composite Center presented an update on the Maine Aqua Ventus project, a 12MW floating offshore wind pilot farm. The project recently received a U.S. Department of Energy award for $3.7 million that will allow the Aqua Ventus team to complete project planning, secure supply contracts, and approach financial close.
