NREL’s STAT Network—Explaining the Opportunity and Process for Requesting Solar Technical Assistance
Thursday, March 3, 2016 @ 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
The National Renewable Energy Lab’s Solar Technical Assistance Team (STAT) provides direct technical assistance to state and local governments on matters that require solar market expertise to either answer a specific question or to provide expert testimony on policy best practices. STAT presents an opportunity for state and local governments to get time-sensitive, market-specific solar PV assistance from leaders in the field using NREL’s extensive research and analytical capabilities. Through the delivery of technical assistance to the key market participants, STAT seeks to lower barriers and facilitate PV market growth. NREL is partnering with CESA on outreach and delivery of the solar technical assistance for its upcoming grant cycle.
In this webinar, hosted by CESA Project Manager Nate Hausman, panelists discussed how state and local governments can obtain solar technical assistance for their programs, and gave examples of past solar technical assistance responses under the program.
