Interactions between Wind Turbines and Wildlife, Part 2
Wednesday, March 29, 2017 @ 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Because there were many more questions than we were able to answer on our March 1st webinar, “Interactions between Wind Turbines and Wildlife,” Clean Energy Group hosted a follow-up webinar to address additional questions from the audience.
Guest Speaker: Taber Allison, American Wind Wildlife Institute
Host: Warren Leon, Clean Energy Group/ Clean Energy States Alliance
Part 1 of this webinar series is available here. In that webinar on March 1st, Taber Allison of the American Wind Wildlife Institute described the current state of knowledge of wind turbine interactions with wildlife, and explained the key issues that were discussed at the December 2016 national Wind Wildlife Research Meeting.
This webinar was a presentation of the Northeast Wind Resource Center (NWRC). The NWRC is supported in part by a grant from the U.S. Department of Energy’s WINDExchange program, and is managed by Clean Energy Group, with participation from Sustainable Energy Advantage and the Maine Ocean & Wind Industry Initiative.
