Interactions between Wind Turbines and Wildlife, Part 1
Wednesday, March 1, 2017 @ 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
In this webinar, Taber Allison of the American Wind Wildlife Institute described the current state of knowledge of wind turbine interactions with wildlife, and explained the key issues that were discussed at the December 2016 national Wind Wildlife Research Meeting.
This webinar was a presentation of the Northeast Wind Resource Center (NWRC). The NWRC is supported in part by a grant from the U.S. Department of Energy’s WINDExchange program, and is managed by Clean Energy Group, with participation from Sustainable Energy Advantage and the Maine Ocean & Wind Industry Initiative.
*** Because there were many more questions than we were able to answer on this webinar, we will be hosting a follow-up webinar to address additional questions from the audience. Read more and register here. ***
