Hawaii’s 100 Percent RPS and Vermont’s New RPS

Monday, March 14, 2016 @ 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM

This webinar looks at two states that last year took important actions to advance renewable energy. Hawaii extended and strengthened an already strong RPS. The state now has renewable electricity targets of 30 percent by the end of 2020, 40 percent by 2030, 70 percent by 2040, and 100 percent by 2045. Vermont established an RPS with a 75 percent target by 2032. It also includes a distributed generation carve-out and an innovative tier for Energy Transformation Projects.

In this webinar, program developers and managers from the two states discussed the standards and what the states are doing to achieve them. Presentations were followed by a Q&A with the audience.
