Clean Energy Group Webinar: Financing Resilient Power

Clean Energy Group (CEG) hosted a webinar on financing options for clean, resilient power solutions. Resilient power technologies, such as solar PV with energy storage, could ensure against the devastating consequences of power outages. The challenge to implementing these technologies is financing, especially for low-income communities, which need resilient power the most and suffer disproportionately from severe weather events. In this webinar, CEG Senior Finance Director Rob Sanders provided an overview of several clean energy finance strategies for low-cost, long-term financing of resilient, clean-energy technologies. Henry Misas, Senior Project Engineer and Solar Specialist at Bright Power, also presented, describing the development process for resilient power projects and the specific concerns of funders and banks that the project developer needs to address.
