CESA and RPS Collaborative Webinar: Solar Trends

The Clean Energy States Alliance and the State-Federal RPS Collaborative hosted a webinar featuring presentations on two important recent reports that highlight solar trends. Larry Sherwood, author of U.S. Solar Market Trends 2013, discussed that report’s findings on solar capacity, installed prices, numbers of installations, leading states, financing trends, and other topics. This annual report is produced by the Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC).  Rob Sargent, co-author of Lighting the Way: The Top Ten States that Helped Drive America’s Solar Energy Boom in 2013, made comparisons between the trends in different states and discussed the public policies that help account for the differences among states. His report was published by Environment America. These presentations were followed by a Q&A with the audience.
