Applying New Data from NREL’s State and Local Planning for Energy (SLOPE) Platform
Wednesday, January 27, 2021 @ 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM ET
This webinar explored the newly updated State and Local Planning for Energy (SLOPE) Platform and applications for clean energy planning. The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) shared new SLOPE components that can answer questions like:
· What portion of my state’s electricity might be generated by renewable technologies by 2050 under different scenarios?
· How does rooftop PV, utility-scale PV, and wind generation potential vary across my state?
· How do current and future distributed and utility-scale energy costs compare across technologies and jurisdictions within my state?
Find accessible charts and maps to use in plans and presentations and learn how you can access and apply SLOPE’s data on efficiency, renewables, and (coming soon) sustainable transportation opportunities and potential for your state.
