IRA, BIL, and the Future of Energy: A Summit to Support State Implementation was a highly successful event in April 2024 that brought together more than 200 state and federal government officials and program staff who are working to implement IRA/BIL programs. Representatives of 37 states plus the District of Columbia attended. A wide range of sessions and activities tackled specific IRA/BIL implementation issues and created opportunities for attendees to strengthen their relationships and connections so that they can work together cooperatively going forward. The Summit was organized by the Clean Energy States Alliance (CESA), Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC), the National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO), and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Policy.
