The National Renewable Energy Lab’s Solar Technical Assistance Team (STAT) provides unbiased information on solar policies and issues for state and local governments and utilities. For the upcoming grant cycle, in addition to the usual technical assistance, STAT is offering to provide more detailed, comprehensive help to a state or states that seek information about policy and programmatic strategies to stimulate economic development through the deployment of solar photovoltaic (PV) technologies. STAT is soliciting responses from states that are interested in being selected for this special assistance. The solicitation presents a unique opportunity to get in-depth, state-specific solar PV analysis from leaders in the field using NREL’s extensive research and analytical capabilities. The research and analysis provided to the selected state(s) through this effort will begin in March and be completed by September 30, 2016. State letters of interest in response to this solicitation must be submitted to NREL at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 5 p.m. EST on February 22, 2016. NREL is partnering with CESA on outreach and delivery of the solar technical assistance. If you have questions, contact CESA Project Manager Nate Hausman at email@example.com or (802)223-2554 x206.
