A recent article by the Brookings Institution highlights CESA members’ innovative work in clean energy finance. New York and Connecticut’s green banks are featured, lauded for their work leveraging limited public funds while encouraging private-sector investments to finance clean energy projects within the state. Also mentioned is the new push for bond financing for clean energy infrastructure development, pioneered in part by CESA Founder Lew Milford in collaboration with Brookings and the Council of Development Finance Agencies.
