The Alaska Center for Energy and Power hosted the Alaska Energy Authority to present updates on their work as part of their community lecture series.

Gene Therriault, Deputy Director of Energy Policy discussed several Alaska Energy Authority’s (AEA)-led projects that will have direct impact on stable and affordable energy for the Interior such as the Interior Energy Project, Susitna-Watana Hydro, and the necessary upgrades to the Alaska Intertie. Gene discussed AEA’s most recent work and the results Alaskans can expect to see in the coming years.
