Duy Nguyen

Scaling Up Solar Summer Fellow

Duy Nguyen (he/him) is an intern at CESA. His work mainly involves the Solar for All program. Before joining CESA, Duy worked as an Impact Investing Intern at Mercy Investment Services, where he conducted due diligence on community investment opportunities, analyzed impact metrics, and helped inform over $5 million in potential investments and grants. He also contributed to shareholder advocacy efforts, researching ESG risks and drafting resolutions for companies like Exxon and Amazon. Duy also served as Vice President of Treasury for the Dwight Hall Socially Responsible Investment Fund, where he helped manage a $200,000 endowment, engaged in impact-focused investment decisions, and collaborated with organizations like the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility.

Duy is pursuing a B.A. in Economics & Energy Studies at Yale University, where he has focused on sustainable finance, real estate economics, and impact investing. Outside of work, Duy enjoys biking, hiking, crocheting, and exploring new indie pop music like Malcolm Todd.
