Anna Whitlock

Anna is the Director for People, Culture, and Equity at Clean Energy Group (CEG) and the Clean Energy States Alliance (CESA). In this role, Anna is responsible for building and maintaining a healthy, equitable, and inclusive culture where staff thrive. She leads activities related to organizational culture and health; team cohesion; staff satisfaction, retention, and professional development; and the organizations’ diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ) goals.

Before joining CEG and CESA, Anna most recently worked in biotech supporting life science startups. Prior to biotech, Anna worked for 13 years scaling a co-working company to expand globally, and prior to that, she held odd jobs allowing her to travel and experience life in different places. She majored in International Studies and minored in History at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Outside of work, you can find Anna volunteering to foster animals or attempting to pet any obliging furry critter or searching for the perfect picnic spot by a swimming hole.
