An Introduction to Solar+Storage

Solar combined with energy storage (solar+storage) can provide cost savings and keep essential services powered during grid outages. In this webinar, speakers from Clean Energy Group will answer some of the most commonly asked questions about the design, installation, and economics of solar and battery storage for homes, businesses, and community facilities.

This webinar will cover many of the topics in Clean Energy Group’s newly updated guide, Understanding Solar+Storage: Answers to Commonly Asked Questions About Solar PV and Battery Storage, and companion resource, Solar+Storage Project Checklist, which serves as a quick and simple starting point for individuals and organizations who are considering solar+storage. Both publications are available in English and Spanish.

These publications are informed by Clean Energy Group’s work helping community-based organizations across the country to explore, access, and implement solar+storage projects to achieve local cost savings and resilience. Over the past 10 years, CEG’s Resilient Power Technical Assistance Fund has awarded $1.7 million in funding support to more than 150 community-based organizations in 32 states and US territories, with over 60 projects operational and many more in development.
