Solar for All – Public Information from State Applicants

Solar for All is a $7 billion competitive grants program administered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. EPA will award up to 60 grants to states, territories, Tribal governments, municipalities, and nonprofits to expand the number of low-income and disadvantaged communities primed for residential solar investment—enabling millions of low-income households to access affordable, resilient, and clean solar energy. EPA is expected to make award decisions in March 2024.

CESA is assisting states across the country in developing Solar for All programs and analyzed the majority of state applications submitted to EPA. Learn more about the details of states’ plans and the potential impact of the Solar for All program in a February 2024 report, Empowering Tomorrow: A Preview of States’ Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund Solar for All Programs.
